Preciosa Mix and Profusion Red and Orange Mixed Zinnia
Sauntering around the suburbs, occasionally one comes across varieties of flowers that are not very familiar. Upon closer inspection, some are just so beautiful that they really pop out, while coming in all kinds of shapes, colors and sizes. Unless the owner is outside, then the search is on when some striking beauties appear on someone’s landscape. This is what happened when I discovered Zinnias.
The Zinnia is a blooming beauty that consistently blooms from early summer right to frost. The colors are wide ranging, from pinks, reds and oranges to yellow, purple and whites. Some of these flowers have multi colors as well. There is no doubt this annual is a must have in the garden.

Our Experience
Full sun is the order of the day for this flower if one is looking for an absolutely stunning show by mid to late summer. However, don’t plant these beauties too closely, especially in full sun, for they will transform from one tiny plant into a beautiful bouquet worthy of a florist store!
Zinnias are always in bloom and provide constant color to the garden. Some more outrageous varieties, such as the Preciosa Mix, appear like rows of candy colors that make the visual senses come alive! Zinnias also attract pollinators such as bees, hummingbirds and butterflies and are absolutely magnificent in any landscape as a border plant.

Last year they paired very well with the Mexican Sunflower, ensuring of course the zinnia is in front of the aforementioned flower so it gets full sun and reaches its potential. Overall, the zinnia is a splash of color that brings beauty to any garden.
