Flowers Worth Planting in The Garden
Tithonia (picture above) deep Orange Or the common name is (Mexican Sunflower) is an annual in Zone 5. It thrives in hot weather in a sunny location. The Mexican Sunflower comes in two colors yellow and orange, we chose the Orange variety for it's striking deep orange color that stands out above all colors. It is an attractant to humming birds, butterflies, and all pollinators. It can grow up to 7 feet in height towering over all other plants. Planting Zinnias in front of this magnificent plant will create a cascading effect of flowers of never ending blooms. Check out our shop for the seed sale of this beautiful flowering plant.

Rudbeckia, which we have always called it "Rebecca Daisy", is a favorite in the garden. We started out with a couple of plants (above pictures) and through bee pollination, the seedlings that we grew the following years were of all size, color, single or multiple layer pedals. Last year we have added Rudbeckia hirta Red Cherry Brandy (pictured bellow), and I can't wait to see what surprises nature is going to provided us with in the coming years.
